Field House Renews Naming Rights with Wells Fargo

The Wells Fargo Dimond Park Field House thanks Wells Fargo Bank for renewing its naming rights agreement for the non-profit, indoor multi-sport facility located along the Mendenhall River at the rear of the Dimond Park complex.

The field house, which is used for soccer, baseball, softball, running, walking, triathlon training, football, Turf for Tots and similar activities was built by the Juneau Community Foundation using a legislative grant and was turned over to the Dimond Park Field House non profit organization to own and operate. Wells Fargo acquired the naming rights through a generous contribution six years ago and has agreed to continue for another three-year period.

The field house averages over 45,000 visits per year from Juneau residents of all ages and is completely self-supporting from hourly fees, business sponsorships and private donations. The field house board contracts with Eaglecrest and pays an annual fee for management services in a mutually beneficial arrangement.

Thank You Holland America, Princess Cruises

The Wells Fargo Dimond Park Field House is pleased to announce it has received a $500 grant from Holland America Line and a $500 grant from Princess Cruises Line. These funds will support the first-time purchase of an electronic software program for the facility.

Upgrading the facility helps us continue to provide and maintain a standard of excellence to our users, as we continue to provide the community with accessible and safe indoor recreation opportunities. With this upgrade we will be able to serve our users at a higher level through maintaining better records, which in turn saves time and allows users to fully enjoy the facility.

The Holland America Line grant, which was matched by Princess Cruises Line, looks for projects that will benefit Juneau as a whole and not just one part of the community.

Thank you, Holland America and Princess Cruises, for supporting the Wells Fargo Dimond Park Field House’s ability to serve our community.
